Everyone knows Bounty is the best when it comes to cleaning up messes, and is a household name for mom’s. The challenge was further integrating the brand into the minds of pet lovers who may not think Bounty first when cleaning up messes their pets make.
Bounty hired Influencer Connect to run a Twitter party that reached not only mom’s with pets, but the pet loving audience. The unique hashtag created around the event was #Furgiveness, and Influencer Connect brought in 12 vetted influencers to host the event from its network of over 3,000, split evenly between influential moms with pets and pet experts themselves. The party was run on August 17th, 2015, and had a little over 10 full days to promote! The influencers heavily promoted on their blogs, Twitter handles and Facebook accounts prior to the party.
The pre-party promotion led to over 400 RSVPs for the event. The one hour event was a success that significantly exceed expectations! #Furgiveness trended nationally which was a key metric of success for the client. The party generated 34MMhashtag impressions reaching almost 1M users – that is 340% more impressions than was included in the plan! Overall, the campaign generated > 40,000,000 impressions and reached 2.7MM people (pre-party promotion included).
